All B-SAFETY body safety showers and industrial safety showers are designed to be self-draining between the trigger valve and the shower head to prevent the growth of bacteria in standing water before it occurs.

If wall mounting the safety shower is not feasible or a central first-aid station is needed, freestanding industrial safety showers prove to be an indispensable alternative. They are especially invaluable in large warehouses and production facilities. A major advantage is their high visibility from all sides. In addition, these freestanding safety showers can be optionally equipped with a wide range of features to meet specific on-site requirements. For example, they can be fitted with an integrated BR837285 eye shower, which provides rapid first aid in the event of an eye injury.

All freestanding safety showers are equipped with the B-SAFETY high-performance shower head, which not only meets the requirements of ANSI Z358.1 and EN 15154, but is also self-draining, largely limescale- and maintenance-free, and very robust and corrosion-resistant.

Our freestanding safety showers comply with the standards EN-15154-1:2025 (body showers in laboratories), EN 15154-5:2019 (body showers for locations other than laboratories / replacement for DIN 12899-3:2009), and ANSI Z358.1-2014. Showers with an integrated Eye shower comply with EN 15154-2:2025 and, in the U.S., ANSI Z358.1-2014. Other national standards may also apply. In addition, company-specific standards may need to be taken into account when selecting a freestanding safety shower.
